Imagen needs all of the project's original images connected inside the Lightroom Classic catalog to begin the high-resolution cloud photos backup upload.
Uploading a cloud photo backup project will only succeed if all images are connected.
Even one missing photo will prevent the upload process from starting.

Once you confirm that all original photos are connected inside the Lightroom Classic catalog, close Lightroom and try again by clicking the "Try Backup Again" or the “Try again” button.
