Add final edits to Personal AI Profiles

  • Updated

When you edit with Personal AI Profiles, you can save your final edits by uploading them back to Imagen after review.

When enough final edits are saved, Imagen prompts you to fine-tune your AI Profile to incorporate all these small changes into your profile. This way, when you review your edits after fine-tuning, these changes will already be part of your AI Profile.

This guide covers how to upload final edits when editing in Lightroom Classic and with supported Adobe software in Adobe Extended Compatibility. It also shows you how to track your final edits to see when you’re ready for fine-tuning and how to add edited photos directly to an AI Profile.

Upload final edits from Lightroom Classic

  1. On the Projects page, click Upload final edits.

  2. If you need to set filters or only select specific photos to upload after review, open the Filters and Selection areas to set this up. Click Upload final edit.

    The upload is confirmed.

  3. Click Close.

A summary opens that shows that the final edits were added to your AI Profile and how close your AI Profile is to fine-tuning.

Upload final edits from Adobe Extended Compatibility

  1. On the Projects page, click Upload final edits.

  2. Click Upload final edit.

    The upload is confirmed.

  3. Click Close.

A summary opens that shows that the final edits were added to your AI Profile and how close your AI Profile is to fine-tuning.

Track the progress of final edits for fine-tuning

You can track how many final edits you’ve already added to your AI Profile and how close you are to fine-tuning. On the AI Profiles page, go to your Personal AI Profile, and click the More options menu (3-dots), and then click View & Modify. The history of your final edits and your projects edited with the AI Profile opens in the window.

Add final edits directly to your Personal AI Profile

Sometimes you might need to add edited photos directly to your Personal AI Profile. For example, you might have moved your folder or catalog before uploading your final edits, or you might need to add these edited photos without an Imagen project.

The process is the same as uploading photos to your Imagen projects, and it changes slightly depending on whether you are uploading photos from a Lightroom catalog or from a folder of photos edited with supported Adobe software.

Add photos to your Personal AI Profile from a Lightroom catalog

  1. On the AI Profiles page, go to your Personal AI Profile, click the More options menu (3-dots), and then click View & Modify.

  2. Click + Add photos.

  3. Choose the type of photo you are adding to the profile.

  4. Choose your Lightroom catalog to add photos to your Personal AI Profile.

  5. Click Upload and train.
