After each project, upload your final edits to help improve your AI Profile. After you upload enough final edits, your AI Profile is ready for fine-tuning. Fine-tuning helps your profile learn from your tweaks and get closer to your style.
Once you upload your final edits, you can't edit the project again.
Which method should I use?

Track your progress toward fine-tuning
You can track how many final edits you've already added to your AI Profile and how close you are to fine-tuning.
- On the AI Profiles page, go to your Personal AI Profile.
- Click the More options menu (3-dots).
- Click View & Modify.
The history of your final edits and your projects edited with the AI Profile opens in the window.
Your progress bar shows three types of photos:
- Cyan: Original photos used to create your profile
- Yellow: Final edits you've uploaded
- Dashed yellow: Final edits still needed for fine-tuning
When you see Ready for fine-tuning, you have enough edits to fine-tune your profile. See When and how to fine-tune your AI Profile for next steps.
Add final edits directly to your Personal AI Profile
Sometimes you might need to add edited photos directly to your Personal AI Profile. For example, you might have moved your folder or catalog before uploading your final edits, or you might need to add these edited photos without an Imagen project.
The process is the same as uploading photos to your Imagen projects, and it changes slightly depending on whether you are uploading photos from a Lightroom catalog or from a folder of photos edited with supported Adobe software.
Add photos to your Personal AI Profile from a Lightroom catalog
- On the AI Profiles page, go to your Personal AI Profile, click the More options menu (3-dots), and then click View & Modify.
- Click + Add photos.
- Choose the type of photo you are adding to the profile.
- Choose your Lightroom catalog to add photos to your Personal AI Profile.
- Click Upload and train.
Add photos to your Personal AI Profile from a folder
- On the AI Profiles page, go to your Personal AI Profile, click the More options menu (3-dots), and then click View & Modify.
- Click + Add photos.
- Choose the type of photo you are adding to the profile.
- Click Choose photos/folder at the bottom of the window.
- Choose the Adobe editing software you use.
- Choose the folder with the photos to add to your Personal AI Profile. If you are uploading photos from Lightroom Creative Cloud, you need to export them first. Click export from Lightroom for a short guide if you need help.
- Click Upload and train.
What gets included in final edits?
Final edits save your color correction adjustments. They don't include:
- Adobe masking tools
- Imagen AI tools (like Subject Mask or Smooth Skin)
This helps your AI Profile learn your color and tone preferences while keeping the AI tools separate.
For more info on the settings included in the edits, see What is a Personal AI Profile?
