Add final touches after editing

  • Updated

Add final touches to your photos in the final steps of the Imagen workflow. After culling and editing, you can use these AI tools to enhance your photos before delivering them to your customers.

Reduce the grain in your photos with the Denoise AI tool

Use Denoise as one of your final editing steps to reduce grain in high ISO or low-light photos. We recommend that you use the default denoise settings that adapt automatically to each photo. Or, you can manually set a denoise intensity for photos with a specific ISO. If you need to tweak the results, you can adjust Denoise and create a new set of final photos.

These photos are final and can’t be edited again.

  1. From the Project page, find your project, and from the 3-dot option menu, click AI tools for final touches.

  2. Click the + sign to add the Denoise AI tool.

  3. (Optional) To set the denoise intensity manually according to the ISO level, click Adjust and then click Manual. See Tweak the settings of the Denoise AI tool for more information about these settings. By default, the Denoise AI tool automatically adjusts the denoise intensity based on each photo's ISO. We recommend keeping the default setting.

  4. Click Add AI tools.

  5. Choose whether to save the final photos in a folder or to publish them to a Pic-Time gallery.

  6. Click Upload to upload high-res photos to use the Denoise AI tool.

  7. When the photos are uploaded, click Export or Deliver, depending on whether you’re exporting final photos to a folder or publishing them to Pic-Time. If you are publishing to Pic-Time, we recommend first exporting these photos to a folder for review. This guide shows the export flow.

  8. Click Export to export your photos to the final-photos folder, which is in the folder where your photos are located. If the format of your original photos is JPEG, we recommend keeping this default location to avoid overwriting the original JPEG photos.

Your photos are downloaded to the folder.

  9. When the download completes, click Open folder to see your photos.

Tweak the settings of the Denoise AI tool

The Denoise AI tool automatically adjusts the denoise intensity based on each photo's ISO. We recommend keeping this default setting. However, you can change it to manually set the denoise intensity according to the ISO level.

  1. To set the denoise intensity manually according to the ISO level, click Adjust .

  2. Click Manual.

  3. In the Denoise strength list, choose the intensity level. The levels are Minimal, Subtle, Low, and Moderate. The higher the intensity level, the greater the chance of hiding details in your photos. If you use the Moderate setting, make sure your photos have a high ISO level.

  4. If you want to set a minimum ISO level for denoise, choose the ISO level from the list.
  1. Click Save changes. These changes are for this project and future projects.

Coming soon: Remove the background from your photos with high-res transparent PNGs

After editing, use the Background Extraction AI tool to create new PNGs with a transparent background. Note that you can’t publish these photos to a Pic-Time gallery since Pic-Time only supports photos.

  1. From the Project page, find your project, and from the 3-dot option menu, click AI tools for final touches.

  2. Click the + sign to add the Background Extraction AI tool, and then click Add AI tools.

  3. Since Pic-Time doesn't support PNGs, you can only save the final PNGs to your computer. In the Deliver photos window, click Export to a folder.

  4. Click Upload to upload high-res photos to use the Denoise AI tool.

  5. When the photos are uploaded, click Export.

  6. Click Export to export your photos to the final-photos folder in the folder where your catalog is located.

Your photos are downloaded to the folder.

  7. When the download completes, click Open folder to see your photos.
