Profile keys and AI Personal Profiles
What is a profile key?
The profile key is a unique identifier for each AI Profile. You can get a list of all the profile keys you can use. This list includes all the Personal AI Profiles you created and all the profiles in the Profile Showcase. See the docs for more info.
Do profile keys change?
Profile keys for Personal AI Profiles don’t change. However, when there is a major update in a profile from the Profile Showcase, we also update the profile key. In this case, there will be a 404 error that the profile isn’t found. In this case, call Get profiles again to get the new profile key.
How do I find the right profile for my photography type?
Use the Imagen app to explore and find the best profile for you. When you're ready to use it in the API, call Get profiles to get the profile key for your profile.
Beta features
Some features are in beta in the Imagen app. Can I use them in my production app?
Feel free to use beta features, but be aware that there might be unexpected results. Contact support for help.

Integration and account management
Why don't my API edits show up in the Imagen desktop app?
API edits and Imagen app projects are separate. The API creates independent editing jobs that don't appear in your regular Imagen account projects. This keeps your API integration separate from your personal editing workflow.
How do I track my API use and credits?
You can find this information in the Imagen app. Click your initials in the top-right corner, and then click Account settings.
What's the difference between API editing and regular Imagen editing?
API editing uses the same AI technology but operates independently from the Imagen app. You send photos directly to our API endpoints and receive edited results without creating projects in the Imagen interface.
