Use Clip Maker to create short clips of your listing

  • Updated

Clip Maker lets you turn your listing photos into short videos you can share or sell to your client. It's built for real estate photographers who want another deliverable from a shoot they've already done, without picking up a video camera.

What is Clip Maker?

Clip Maker takes photos from a listing you've already edited and delivered. It turns them into a short video clip with gentle camera movement added to each photo. It keeps every room exactly as you shot it. A clip isn't a replacement for your listing gallery. Treat it as a teaser that drives interest, not a full record of the property.

Who is Clip Maker for?

Clip Maker is available to paying customers. It's currently in beta.

  • You need at least one delivered listing. Clip Maker only appears on listings you've finished editing, since it's built from your final photos.

  • Trial customers can build and preview a clip for free, but they need to be a paying customer to export it.

  • Exporting a clip costs $15. During the beta, every paying customer gets 2 free exports. Building and previewing a clip is always free, no matter how many times you do it.

Create a clip

  1. Open a delivered listing, and click Create clip in the top right. If you'd rather start from a list of every listing that's ready for a clip, click the Clip Maker icon in the left sidebar instead, then click Create clip on the listing you want.

  2. Choose your photos. Here are some tips:
    - Pick from 6 to 9 photos for your clip.
    - Use Auto-select to randomize the selected photos.
    - Drag photos to reorder them.
    - Use Auto-select to randomize the selected photos.

  3. Choose your music and settings. Use the Music tab to pick from 18 instrumental tracks, and the Settings tab to add a title screen and to choose portrait or landscape orientation. Portrait works best for social media.

  4. Click Play to preview your clip. Click the photo to show the crop options. To move the cropping frame manually, click the icon on the bottom right.

  5. Click Create clip. This builds your clip. It usually takes a few minutes, and you don't have to stay on the page. We'll email you and notify you in the app as soon as it's ready.

  6. Review your clip. Once it's ready, play it back on its results page. Rate how happy you are with it. This helps us improve Clip Maker.

  7. Download or start another. Click Download clip to save the video to your computer, or Create another to build a new clip from the same listing.
