Error 3180: Edits couldn't be saved to the photos folder

Quick summary

Imagen couldn't write your edits to the folder with your photos. In the app you see: "We couldn't save your edits to the photos folder. Make sure the folder isn't read-only, and close other apps that use these photos. Try again."

 

How to fix this

  1. Make sure the folder isn't read-only, and that you have permission to change it.
  2. Close other apps that have these photos open, like Lightroom or Photo Mechanic.
  3. Click Try again in the message.
