Understanding invoices

  • Updated

When do I get an invoice?

  • After we successfully charge your payment method, Imagen sends you an invoice to the email associated with your account. The invoice is for your records. You don't need to do anything more.

  • The billing date is the same day of the month when you subscribed to Imagen. For example, if you subscribed to Imagen on December 3rd, you will be billed on the third day of every month.

How can I see my account in the Imagen app?

  • Click your initials in the top-right corner of the Imagen app, and then click Account settings.

  • In the My Account area in the Imagen app, you can track the estimated monthly charge.

  • To add details for future invoices, go to My Account > User Details and add information in the relevant fields. See Adding details to your invoice
To add details to older invoices you have already received, contact the support team.

  • If you need to update your account email, see Update your Imagen email account.

What is on my invoice?

  • If you live in the United States, some states require that we charge you sales tax. You'll see it in your invoice.

  • The invoice will show each project you sent for editing in a given month by name and the amount it costs.

  • Credits received will be shown on your invoice as well.

  • In case your payment was declined for some reason, we will send you an email and charge you as follows:

    1) We will charge you again two days after the first decline. If that doesn't work, we will send another email to let you know.
    2) We will charge you again four days after the first decline. If that doesn't work, we will send another email to let you know.
    3) We will charge you again seven days after the first decline. If that doesn't work, your account will be frozen, and you won’t be able to download edits for new projects.

For more information about payment declines, see What to do if your credit card was declined.
