About your billing date
Your payment or billing date is based on the day of the month you subscribed to Imagen. For example, if you subscribed on January 10th, Imagen will charge you on the 10th of every month. Your expected charge and billing date are on the My Account page. If you use a debit card, make sure you have enough funds before your billing date.
What happens when your payment method is declined
If we charge your payment method and receive a decline message, we’ll let you know by email. Here’s a table that outlines common reasons why a payment method is declined and what to do about it. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Possible reasons for decline | What you can do | What we do at Imagen |
---|---|---|
Your payment method is expired or canceled. |
You can update your payment method details in the Imagen app. After you update your payment details, click Pay now to settle your bill with Imagen. |
When we get a decline message, we email you to notify you and try charging you three more times that week. After four failed attempts to charge you, we suspend your account. |
Your payment provider doesn’t approve payment to Imagen for security reasons. | Ask your payment provider to approve ImagenAI as a safe transaction. ImagenAI is the name Imagen uses for billing. | |
Insufficient funds | Make sure that your credit card’s limit is high enough so that the international transaction limit doesn’t fail this transaction. | |
Not sure | Reply to the email we sent you about the declined payment. We’ll share the information we received from the payment provider with you. |
