Adjusting the Imagen local adjustments in Lightroom

  • Updated

Just like Imagen’s global edits, you can still further adjust the Local Adjustment edit in Lightroom.

You can adjust the Subject Mask or the edit applied to it by following these steps:

  1. Go to the “Develop” module

  2. Click on the “Masking” button on the right panel, or use the keyboard shortcut by pressing Shift+W

  3. The masking window will open.
Clicking on the double arrows will expand or collapse the window

  4. Clicking on the mask name will select the mask and show the Imagen edit on the right

From this point, you have several options:
    1. Edit the values applied to the mask by adjusting the right panel sliders and settings.

    2. Modify the mask that was created by selecting the mask name and then clicking on the appropriate button (either 'Add' or 'Subtract').

For quick mask fixes, select the Brush option.
