Clean install for troubleshooting

  • Updated

Sometimes, when troubleshooting issues, our customer success team might ask you to perform a clean install, which re-installs Imagen without files that might be causing problems.

  1. If you are culling, export your results before continuing. A clean install deletes your culling results.

  2. Open Imagen, click the question mark at the top-right corner of the screen, and then About Imagen. A window with the Imagen version opens.

  3. Check the Imagen version. If it's 24.8.9 and up, continue to the next step. If the Image version is below 24.8.9, install the latest version, and start this procedure again.

  4. Close the Imagen version window, but stay in the My Account window.

  5. (Windows and Mac) Press these keys together: Shift + Control + Q.

  6. Click Clean install to download the installation package.

  7. Install Imagen when prompted.
